Secure the garland using appropriate mounting hardware or commercial decorating wire. When separating into two 4.5-foot sections, ensure each section is properly supported and that electrical connections remain protected from the elements. Connect only to an approved outdoor-rated power source.
At the end of the season, inspect the greenery, lights, wiring, and decorative accents before storing. Store flat or loosely coiled in a clean, dry location to help maintain the garland's shape and appearance.
